The sound
A little soul.
A lot of groove.
DJ Manse brings together soulful house, uplifting grooves, funk and disco, with a love of music that gets people moving.
Behind the decks is Jason Mansell, a DJ with a passion for rich vocals, infectious basslines and feel-good rhythms. My selections blend fresh discoveries with familiar favourites, drawing on the warmth of soul, the energy of house and the timeless pull of disco.
House with feeling.
Vocal-led house, warm melodies and a steady groove. The kind of music that brings sunshine to a room.
Disco in its DNA.
Funk, soul and disco influences woven into a selection that feels welcoming, energetic and full of life.
Good music.
Good company.
From laid-back listening to a lively party atmosphere, my approach is simple: share great music, bring people together and keep the good times flowing.
Behind the decks
Selected with soul.
I play on a Denon SC Live 4 running Engine OS, using Apple Music and my USB collection. I enjoy finding fresh tracks and shaping a running order where the music flows.
House, soulful house, funk and disco are at the heart of my selections — with rich vocals, infectious basslines and a feel-good atmosphere.
